Aviator (Avr) Peters, a junior financial services administrator with the Wing Comptroller’s office, excelled as Vice PMC for the Deputy Wing Commander's Mixed Dining-In.
Despite never attending a mess dinner before, Avr Peters embraced the role with enthusiasm, creating an informative etiquette presentation for military and civilian members and providing key support to the PMC.
Demonstrating confidence and dedication, Avr Peters played a vital role in the event’s success. Congratulations on an outstanding performance!

Inspiration of 17 Wing

The title is awarded in recognition of exceptional performance or outstanding contribution to the 17 Wing community. 17 Wing/CFB Winnipeg Community members: military, Public Service Employees, PSP, MFRC, CANEX, SISIP and associated family members may nominate a candidate at any time for the respective month for the title of "Wihuri Wonder". The Wihuri wonder is awarded twice a month in respect to the people who inspire our military community on an regular basis.
