Winnipeg Military Family Resource Centre (WMFRC)
Welcome to the Winnipeg MFRC! We provide services and supports to military and veteran families in Winnipeg and Thunder Bay areas.
Our Core Services
Whether it be for education, skill-building, peer support, counselling, or referrals to outside resources, we work together with families to help them understand and cope better with any challenges of:

Relocation
Assisting families to integrate into their new community before and during their postings as well as when they leave for their new postings.
“We had time together as a family during a very stressful time where we don’t know anyone in the new place, don’t know fun things around. It was very helpful and it is always nice to meet new people.” – a relocated family

“Thanks to the strong dedication of the MFRC, I had an enjoyable Christmas with lots of treats and support during potentially lonely times. Your efforts kept a chilly troop warm in the far north. Thank you, MFRC!” – a military member
