Come celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Canadian Forces Base Winnipeg with us. An all-day event with guided bus tours of the base and both indoor and outdoor activities for the whole family to learn about our history, connect with our community and inspire our future.
Take a walk through the memory lane from Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) Station Winnipeg’s official opening in April 1925 through to becoming a major base for training pilot, navigators, observers and wireless operators during the Second World War to today as we continue the proud tradition of training aircrews and providing search and rescue capability to Canadians.
