Canadian Forces Base Winnipeg

Indigenous Reconciliation Gathering
CANCELLED

In light of the ongoing wildfire emergency affecting communities across Manitoba the difficult decision has been made to cancel the CFB Winnipeg 100th Anniversary Indigenous Reconciliation Gathering.

The Manitoba Métis Federation (MMF), Southern Chiefs’ Organization (SCO) have shifted their focus toward supporting evacuees, their families, and affected communities. The Canadian Armed Forces will continue to support evacuation operations.

We extend our heartfelt thoughts to all those impacted by the wildfires. This is a time to stand together and prioritize the safety and well-being of our relatives and communities.

Thank you again for your understanding and continued support.
